Bob joined Värde as an advisor in 2007. In this capacity, he assists the firm with strategic initiatives and other business matters. After 38 years in a variety of management and financial assignments at Cargill, Bob retired as Vice Chairman in 2006. During his tenure there, Bob served as a trusted advisor to our Founding Partners before they left their investment positions at Cargill to start Värde. Now, Bob is working with the Partners again as an advisor. Bob also serves in leadership and advisory roles at The Mosaic Company, Ecolab Inc., Black River Asset Management and Howard University in Washington, D.C.
