Until his retirement in 2008, Greg served as a managing partner. He helped shape global investment strategy, and oversaw private investment activity and business operations while managing the firm with the other managing partners. Under his direction, Värde became a leading investor in private transactions, and built a proprietary servicing platform to originate and workout portfolios across a wide range of asset types.
